Survivor Alliance is beyond excited to announce our 2nd Annual REDEFINED: A Day of Healing
Living in a society that profits off our trauma and oppression, we are in great need of solidarity, love, and support. At REDEFINED, we’re cultivating a space for allies and survivors to connect at the intersections of community, creativity, and healing. Anyone impacted by trauma, directly or indirectly, is encouraged to attend.

This full day event brings together creativity, community, and healing so that we can collectively process past traumas and engage in supportive relationships. - And More!
Thanks to some great friends, here’s a video compilation from last years event to get you all jazzed up:
Upgrades to this year’s program
Last year, over 100 people attended REDEFINED and we are so grateful to all that shared the beautiful experience with us. We can’t wait to recreate the magic again this year, and this time it will be even better!
One change from last year’s event is that we’ll have different circles happening throughout the day, allowing us to host even more workshops and still keep an intimate vibe. There will be five 40-minute circles throughout the day, with 5 categories in each time-slot:
- Writing + Expression
- Creative Arts
- Embodied Movement
- Spirituality + Meditation
- Allyship + Nonprofit Engagement
Another change from last year: there will be plenty of time in between each workshop to stop by our craft tables, grab some food, connect with the community, and enjoy the sunshine. Various artists will be performing during the breaks, with an open mic for attendees to share original pieces. There will also be food vendors and a number of local creatives showcasing their work
All are welcome
REDEFINED is open to all members of the community. Survivor or ally. Young or old. All backgrounds are welcome and encouraged to share. The venue, Humanist Hall, is wheelchair accessible, and family friendly. While no formal childcare will be provided, our community is here to take care of each other. Feel free to bring your children, understanding that this is still a healing space and trauma may be discussed.
Don’t miss out!
The event kicks off at 10am with breakfast, and ends at 6pm with our closing concert. A more detailed schedule will be coming soon, so join our email list to stay tuned.
You can RSVP for the 2nd Annual REDEFINED: A Day of Healing here. The event is free for all, but there’s a suggested donation of $5-50 (accepted at the door or online) for those able to support the movement. 20% of donations received go straight to The Alliance Fund, providing scholarships and mentorship for survivors of sexual assault. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Want to get involved?
Help the day run smoothly by signing up to volunteer here. We’re also looking for more vendors and sponsors to help provide breakfast, vendor tables, and the day’s activities. If you have something you’d like to contribute to the event, please email us: firstname.lastname@example.org
